what is reiki?
Reiki is a powerful energy healing technique that originated in Japan. The word Reiki means Life Force Energy, which is the energy that flows through all living things. As a Reiki practitioner, I channel this energy and allow it to flow through your body, bringing your body into the optimal state for healing.
The body has an innate ability to heal itself if given the opportunity. However, the stresses and distractions of everyday life can make it difficult for the body to enter a state of optimal healing. This is where Reiki can be helpful.
Reiki can aid in healing on all levels - mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. It can help you connect with your subconscious mind, enhance your manifestations, and promote balance.
Following a Reiki session, my goal for you is to feel empowered to take control of your own health and well-being and make the necessary changes you want to create desired results in your life. My hope is that you leave feeling greater peace, less stress and overwhelm, and clarity around whatever you are faced with in your life.
How Does Distance Reiki work?
Distance healing is based on the idea that we are all connected through a universal energy field. Whether you are across the room or across the globe, distance is not a limitation for the universal energy that flows through all living things.
With Reiki distance healing, you can experience the profound effects of energy in the comfort of your own home, which can be just as effective as in-person sessions. During a distance Reiki session, I use special symbols and intention to direct healing energy to you, regardless of time and space.
The power of the mind and heart also plays a substantial role in Reiki distance healing. Thoughts and emotions have a profound impact on our inner and outer well-being. When I direct my intention and focus my mind and heart on sending healing energy, it becomes a powerful catalyst for transformation.
How Much Does a Distance Session Cost?
I offer a one-hour distance Reiki session for $45 which includes:
What Happens During A Distance Reiki Session?
Once you schedule your distance Reiki session, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions on how to best prepare for your session. At your scheduled time, we will connect via phone or Zoom to review your forms and discuss your hopes and goals for the session. If you prefer, we can also do this via email.
After we have completed the intake, you will be asked to find a comfortable space to receive the Reiki energy. I will guide you to turn off your computer or mobile device and begin the treatment portion. I will conduct the session in the same way as if it were an in-person session, using a Reiki surrogate that is energetically connected to and represents you.
During the session, you may experience a range of feelings or sensations, including warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of relaxation. It’s important to remember that everyone experiences Reiki differently, so you may not feel the same sensations as someone else. It’s also normal to experience no physical sensations at all, and that does not mean that Reiki is not working. It’s important to release any expectations, trust the process, and be open to the experience during your session.
After the treatment, you will have the option of a 5-minute debrief session by Zoom or phone to discuss your experience. If you prefer to rest afterward and follow up later, you can always do so through email. Either way, I will send a follow-up email with any suggestions I may have and recommended next steps to help you continue your healing journey.
